Submitted requests will be handled by the people within 48 hours, while the applicants will receive feedback within three days-said president Boban Džunić. Although the City Municipalities of Nis do not have the status of local governments and therefore the same possibilities of the city, in communication with the citizens of the newly established office in Palilula we will hear a long-established official phrase - "not authorized". Answer by request of the citizens will be provided in due time. Palilula municipality is the only town municipality of Nis, where the work of the municipality is introduced through a quality management system standard ISO 9001:2008 and that has launched a pilot project ''INFO48''. Last year we conducted recertification requirements and extended the quality management system standard ISO 9001:2008. We have taken our commitment to the work of a more efficient municipality- said Marija Brajdić, head of the local administration. Programme of Action of the municipality for 2012-2016, it is planned that the works in this area is improved. "Disposal of solving communal problems, transfer of responsibilities from one service company, organization, and other administrative silence are the biggest problems in local governments. This mode, adds president Džunić, is creating discontent and feeling that we are unable to change the current situation. On the other hand, our citizens do not have enough information and knowledge about procedures, and regulations of the jurisdictions where certain municipal-city services or companies operate. We have noted the need to discuss these details with our citizens, in order for them to be aware and informed and knowledgeable on institution which is responsible for solving their problems. This is especially true regarding competence in the field of public utilities and municipal authorities, said Džunić. As we heard at the conference, which was held at the headquarters of Palilula Municipality, all the potentials of this year will focus on the development and implementation of new projects, in order to solve the problems of citizens, their employment, achieving complete customer satisfaction of Municipality of Palilula citizens and approaching EU standards. Palilula Municipality is an organization of local self-government, which was designed according to the European model, which the local government is not only determined as an administrative service of the local community, but also as a partner who actively and effectively participate in solving all the problems of the local community and improve the lives of all its segments. For the realization of our vision of development of four major development priorities (infrastructure, environment, economic development, social development), which should be prepared and implemented in the next 5 years to improve the conditions of life and work of all of our citizens, social development has an important role, in particular the improvement of social services and care for all the citizens of the municipality. Opening “Office for quick answers” at the Office of Palilula Municipality is practically achieving one of the strategic goals of our Action Plan of the municipality. |
